Week 10: Radio Waves, Blog Launches, and Black-Tie Dreams ✨

From Headless Chicken to Radio ahhh!!!!
This week hit a huge milestone: I went on the radio. Yes, me—the energy bunny who’s usually running around like a headless chicken, spilling coffee, juggling a million things, never really seeking the spotlight—went on air and shared my story.

My coach’s reaction? Priceless.
Me: “Guess what happened yesterday?”
Coach: “What? Something interesting?”
Me: “I went on the radio and told my story.”
Coach: gasps “You didn’t!”
Me: “Sure did.”
Coach: “Oh my God, I’m so proud of you!”

Why did I do it? Not for attention, but to put the story of these injuries out there—because if it helps anyone, even a little, it’s worth it. And the universe, it seems, was listening. Weeks ago, I told a friend over coffee that I’d need to get on Red FM someday and share my story. And look at that—sometimes planting the idea is all it takes.
Then came the icing on the cake: I launched the blog. Six posts went live before I even realized it. My friends were messaging, “Marie… what does it say?” And I just laughed—go big or go home, right?

Brain on Overdrive 🧠💨
Honestly, my brain’s been buzzing. Between rehab, blog ideas, keeping up with messages from friends, and just trying to have a normal life with my husband and kids, it’s a lot. But I’m starting to look at goals again—personal presents, little milestones to keep me going.

The Big Goal: Black Tie, Bare Feet, and Pride 👠✨
Here’s the dream: January, my dearest, dearest friend’s wedding—a black-tie affair. My goal? Show up at that wedding me: no crutches, no boot, just standing on my own two feet, barefoot if I want, feeling confident. I want to get up there and do the prayer of the faithful, something I’m so proud of, and feel like myself again.
Alongside that, I want to feel good in every way—how I dress, how I present myself, and how I pour myself into these blogs. It’s all about showing up fully, in every sense.

Week 10 Takeaways: Fun Edition 🎉
Throw it to the universe: Say it out loud, write it down, tell a friend—sometimes the universe actually listens (hello, radio debut!).
Celebrate the chaos: Even when life feels like a headless chicken sprint, small wins deserve a happy dance. 🐇💃
Goals that make you buzz: Pick goals that light you up—like rocking a black-tie wedding barefoot and fabulous.
Show up like a boss: How you look, how you feel, how you write—own it all. Confidence is contagious.
Juggle, don’t drop: Rehab, blogs, family, life… it’s messy, but balance is possible (even if it’s more like controlled chaos).

Here’s to Week 10: radio waves, blog launches, and getting ready to sparkle at that black-tie wedding—bare feet and all. ✨
